Mitchell Geoffrey Goldenberg, MD

Mitchell Goldenberg, MD, is a urologist at Keck Medicine of USC, providing treatment across the full spectrum of urological conditions. He is also a dedicated advocate in the improvement of surgical education for the next generation of doctors.

After earning his medical degree at St. George’s University of London, he completed his urology residency and earned his doctorate degree in medical education at the University of Toronto. He then completed his fellowship at Keck Medicine, becoming an expert in the evaluation and treatment of pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, voiding dysfunction, neuro-urology and pelvic pain.

Dr. Goldenberg focuses his research on medical education, specifically the training and evaluation of surgical procedures and the impact of surgical skills on patient safety. He also investigates the role of artificial intelligence in streamlining and standardizing assessment of trainee surgeons.

Dr. Goldenberg is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, his home country. He frequently contributes to peer-reviewed medical journals.

In his free time, he enjoys exploring new cuisines and cultures and sharing experiences with family and friends. He also loves the arts, including movies and concerts.
