The Prepared Childbirth course, hosted by USC Arcadia Hospital, is a two-session series designed to empower first-time expectant parents as they prepare for labor, delivery, and the postpartum journey. Led by experienced healthcare professionals, this class provides a comprehensive roadmap for both the birthing person and their support partner. Whether you choose the interactive virtual format via Microsoft Teams or our hands-on in-person sessions, you will gain the confidence and practical skills needed to navigate the hospital experience and welcome your new baby.
This is a 2-part class and will meet on the following dates:
Tuesday, October 6: 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Tuesday, October 13: 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Registration Instructions
To sign up, select the Register Now link to view available in-person and virtual dates. Once you submit the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email. Cost is $80 per registration. Only one registration is required per couple.
Classes may be canceled due to low enrollment. Please check your email the day before your scheduled class for updates.

All students will be provided with the “Understanding Birth” guidebook and mobile app access during class.
Absolutely. We highly encourage a support person to attend. You only need to register once per couple for the $80.00 fee.
