Join us for a fall cooking demonstration featuring Victoria Buxton-Pacheco, MS, RD, outpatient dietitian at USC Arcadia Hospital. Victoria will clear up common myths about protein and highlight its many benefits for healthy aging. She will explain the differences between animal and plant-based protein and demonstrate how both fit into a balanced diet. Attendees will enjoy a live demonstration of a fall-inspired butternut squash and chicken sausage dish, sample a protein-packed soup and baked apple crisp, and receive take-home recipes.
