Dr. Kelly is a clinical investigator and a translational researcher with the major goal of identifying new therapeutic targets that will facilitate more effective and selective treatment regimens for patients with hematological cancers. To this end, he has led numerous clinical trials over the past 14 years. Research performed in his laboratory is translated into clinical trials that bring novel therapeutic approaches for patients with blood cancers. He has a passion for understanding how our own immune systems can be repurposed to target disease. His goal is to enhance the outcome and quality of life for his patients with blood disorders and to guide them through their cancer journey with care and compassion.
