Diana L. Hanna, MD

Diana L. Hanna, MD, became intrigued by science at a young age. The constant and rapidly evolving research in oncology, along with its meaningful interactions with patients, drew her to her subspecialty.

Dr. Hanna is an active and widely published clinician scientist in such topics as predictive biomarkers and molecular pathways for gastrointestinal malignancies and other cancers, as well as the effective design and conduct of early stage clinical trials. She is a frequent reviewer for leading, peer-reviewed oncology journals and an invited speaker at conferences.

Dr. Hanna focuses her patient care on the whole individual because every bodily system can be affected by cancer and its treatment and, conversely, cancer impacted by the rest of the body. She is proud to be part of Keck Medicine of USC – Newport Beach, where the team is committed to ensuring all patients have access to the best possible care and joins in research collaborations with USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center.
