Geriatric Services at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital are an integral part of the broader USC Geriatric Care program, offering a full continuum of care tailored to the unique needs of adults aged 50 and over. As part of Keck Medicine of USC, this collaboration ensures that patients receive comprehensive, personalized support across a network of specialized providers dedicated to enhancing the health and well-being of older adults.

Stepping Stones Inpatient Program
Our inpatient program offers free 24/7 crisis assessments for individuals 50 years of age or older who may need inpatient admission. This program may benefit individuals exhibiting the following behaviors:

Anxiousness
Actions that endanger self and others
Experiencing hallucinations
Making statements or gestures about suicide
Feelings of paranoia
Experiencing decline in the ability to function
Withdrawing from social activities
