Upon providing your presumed diagnosis of PKD, we schedule your appointment with one of our designated nephrology specialists, who offers care for PKD patients. In advance of your appointment, we ask that you provide access to all relevant medical records, prior labs and imaging studies.

 

How long does it take to get an appointment?

Your appointment will be scheduled within one to two weeks from your initial call to our clinic.

 

What is PKD?

Polycystic kidney disease (PKD) is a genetic disorder characterized by the growth of numerous cysts in the kidneys. Over time, these cysts can lead to kidney enlargement and loss of kidney function.

 

What is ADPKD?

There are two main types of PKD: Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease (ADPKD) and Autosomal Recessive Polycystic Kidney Disease (ARPKD).
