Taylor Marie Southworth , MD
Taylor Southworth, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with Keck Medicine of USC who specializes in treating upper-extremity disorders of the hand, wrist, forearm and elbow. She has a special interest in the treatment of nerve injuries and arthritis, as well as post-traumatic and microvascular reconstruction.
Dr. Southworth earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois in Chicago. She then completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at USC and Los Angeles General Medical Center, followed by a fellowship in hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery at Duke University in Durham, NC.
Dr. Southworth believes trust is the cornerstone of the physician-patient relationship.
She serves as a clinical assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, where her research interests lie in optimizing patient outcomes and satisfaction.
When she is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and reading thriller novels.
