Laura A. Huettner, PA-C

Laura Huettner, MPAP, PA-C, is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Family Medicine with expertise in preventive medicine and chronic disease management. She provides patient-centered primary care across the lifespan with a culturally responsive, holistic approach and partners closely with patients to develop practical, individualized care plans that align with their needs and goals. Her clinical focus includes preventive care and cancer screening, women’s health, contraception, sexual and reproductive health, HIV prevention, and gender-affirming care. She also has a strong interest in expanding access to mental health services within primary care, particularly in the evaluation and management of depression and anxiety. She helps develop and implement interdisciplinary, team-based approaches that improve outcomes for patients with complex medical needs. Her clinical excellence has been recognized with several institutional honors, including Advanced Practice Provider of the Year and the Gold Star Clinician Award for outstanding patient satisfaction and quality of care. Ms. Huettner earned her Master of Physician Assistant Practice from the Keck School of Medicine of USC in 2015 and is board certified.
