Dr. Zielsdorf received her MD from Rush Medical College and completed her Integrated General Surgery residency at Rush University Medical Center and Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. She then came to Keck Medicine of USC for a fellowship, receiving advanced training in both Abdominal Organ Transplantation and Hepatobiliary Surgery. She currently practices at Keck Hospital, LAC+USC Medical Center, and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.Treating patients at multiple sites gives her the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and treat advanced, complex cases.
Dr. Zielsdorf enjoys working with both adult and pediatric patients. She believes in taking the time to get to know each patient so that she can offer a personally tailored plan of care.
Dr. Zielsdorf also conducts clinical outcomes research, with a particular interest in surgery and portal hypertension.
