Forrest Martin, MD

Forrest Martin, MD, is a resident physician in Keck Medicine Family Medicine Residency Program.

A graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy, Dr. Martin was commissioned as a Marine Corps infantry officer where he served for 5 years, attaining the rank of Captain. After completing his time in the Marines, he rededicated his life to healing others after seeing the toll the mental and physical injuries took on his Marines. Dr. Martin not only wanted to take care of his Marines and veterans however, but people of all backgrounds who needed quality healthcare.

Dr. Martin went on to graduate from USC’s Keck School of Medicine where he found his love for family medicine by enjoying getting to know his patients and taking the time to hear their stories. Dr. Martin is passionate about providing patients with the resources and education that allow them to establish lifelong healthy habits.

In his free time, Dr. Martin enjoys surfing, running on the beach with his 100+ lb German shepherd and tending to his vegetable garden from which he makes homemade pickles, salsas, and pasta sauce.
