Dr. Garsa is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiation Oncology at USC Norris Cancer Hospital and USC + Los Angeles County Medical Center. He joined USC in June 2017.
Dr. Garsa received his undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his residency in radiation oncology at Washington University School of Medicine, and completed fellowship training in central nervous system (CNS) and head and neck cancers at the University of California San Francisco (UCSF).
Dr. Garsa remained on as faculty at UCSF for four years before coming USC. He has presented and published multiple studies investigating advanced imaging technologies and radiation therapy techniques to allow for maximal therapeutic effect while minimizing treatment side effects.
