Chief Health Information Officer
Keck Medicine of USC
TJ Malseed serves as the chief health information officer for Keck Medicine of USC. In this role, Malseed leads growth and oversees operations for information systems. He also supports the planning, operating and optimizing of information management across the care continuum for the hospital sites, ambulatory locations and office-based practices of Keck Medicine. He supports the integration of care for our patient population at its owned sites and at other locations that collaborate with Keck Medicine on population health management programs.
Prior to joining Keck Medicine in 2016, TJ held the positions of vice president, chief information officer and chief applications officer at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA). With 20 years of experience in information technology, TJ oversaw the strategy and direction for CHLA’s technology efforts and led numerous clinical, revenue cycles, financial, human resources and research efforts.
Malseed holds a bachelor’s degree in international business and a minor in computer science from the University of California, Davis. He is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Pediatric Leadership Council for Cerner Corporation.
