Paul Craig serves as the chief administrative officer and interim chief human resources officer for Keck Medicine of USC. He draws on more than 30 years of working in law and as a registered nurse to uphold Keck Medicine’s commitment to community, wellness and health education.
Prior to joining Keck Medicine, Craig served as vice president for human resources and chief human resources officer at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA).
Before his tenure at CHLA, Craig served as associate vice-chancellor of human resources and risk management for University of California, San Diego (UCSD) Health Sciences, including the medical school, two medical centers and the faculty medical group. He also served as chief human resources and risk officer at the UCSD Health System. Before UCSD, Craig was the chief operating officer at Saint Francis Memorial Hospital in San Francisco.
Craig’s professional memberships include the American Society for Health Care Risk Management, the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Society for Human Resource Management. He earned his undergraduate degree in behavioral science from National University in Evanston, Illinois, and his license as a registered nurse from the Evanston Hospital School of Nursing. He earned his law degree from DePaul University College of Law.
