Keck Medicine of USC hospitals rise in rankings among nation’s best.
Keck Medical Center of USC hospitals have been ranked among the best hospitals in California (No. 10) by U.S. News and World Report.
The medical center, which includes Keck Hospital of USC and the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center, also performed well in a number of specialty rankings, securing a top 50 placement in five specialties. The USC Roski Eye Institute remained the institution’s top-performing service line for the 24th consecutive year (No. 11). The USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center received its highest-ever ranking (No. 15), moving up three points. The USC Institute of Urology (No. 29), Geriatrics (No. 27) and Orthopaedics (No. 24) ranked within the top 50.
Three additional specialties ranked as high-performing nationally: Neurology & Neurosurgery; Nephrology; and Cardiology & Heart Surgery. In the L.A. Metro Area, nine specialties ranked as high-performing: Neurology & Neurosurgery; Nephrology; Lung Cancer Surgery; Hip Replacement; Heart Failure; Colon Cancer Surgery; Cardiology & Heart Surgery; Aortic Valve Surgery; Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair, Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm Repair.
