Lunch will be served. Please RSVP by April 30th: mary.aalto@med.usc.edu

Award-winning essayist and PEN West Fiction Award finalist Samantha Dunn joins USC palliative medicine physician and writer Sunita Puri in a conversation about how we encounter and survive serious illness. In Not By Accident, her bestselling memoir, Dunn recounts her own catastrophic injury and inspiring recovery. Not By Accident will be used to discuss the questions that affect us all: How do we find meaning in coping with unexpected events–especially serious illness–that touch our lives and those of our loved ones?

Ten free copies of Not By Accident will be raffled off to attendees. A book signing with the author will follow.

We hope to see you there! Download the flier for the event here.
