About this doctor:

Dr. Song received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Cornell University and medical degree from Stanford School of Medicine. She completed her medicine internship at Santa Clara Valley Hospital and residency training in Radiation Oncology at the University of Chicago Medical Center where she was Chief Resident in the Department of Radiation Oncology. As a resident, she conducted several retrospective studies on a variety of malignancies which resulted in publications in highly respected peered reviewed journals.

Dr. Song joined the USC family after finishing residency. Her clinical focuses are on gastrointestinal malignancies, gynecologic malignancies, and sarcoma. Her areas of expertise include IMRT, SBRT, and HDR brachytherapy. Since 2013, she has also become the institutional PI for NRG, the national cooperative group for cancer research.

For patients, navigating through the different aspects of cancer care is often complicated and confusing. I want to empower my patients with knowledge and help them make informed decision about their care. I strive to provide the best care for each individual patient, taking into account their own unique values and beliefs.
