After 20 years as a successful private gastroenterologist Dr. Kline joined the GI faculty at USC in 1994.  Over the last 20 years he has developed a private practice at Keck Hospital of USC, USC Norris Cancer Hospital and the Healthcare Consultation Center II. He has also been involved with teaching medical students and medical residents at the Keck School of Medicine and LAC+USC Medical Center and served as GI Fellowship Program Director from 1998 until 2013. Dr. Kline’s special interests in gastroenterology include inflammatory and motor disorders of the esophagus in which he has both a clinical and research interest.
