About this doctor:

Kristi VanWinden, MD, has research interests in clinical nutrition and infectious disease in pregnancy.

Philosophy of Care:
I know the majority of pregnancies are not complicated and require little other than support and education. I enjoy supporting complicated and uncomplicated pregnancies alike, with the goal of reserving medical interventions for those that require them. Where different approaches are available, I aim to provide the time and information patients need to make care decisions that align with their personal values and priorities. In the end, the goal is always the same: to strive for a healthy mom and a healthy baby.
