About this doctor:

Dr. Phung has a life-long passion for education and is committed to medical student and resident teaching at USC. After completing his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco and OBGYN residency training at the University of California, San Diego, he joined the Keck School of Medicine of USC faculty as an assistant professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2016. He is a two-time winner of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation’s Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award, as well as the Kaiser “Excellence in Teaching” Award, which is awarded to 2 residents selected amongst all residencies as voted by the MS3 and MS4 classes. He also has a special interest in minimally invasive treatment of gynecologic conditions, including hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, and robotic surgery.
