About this doctor:

A graduate of Columbia College (1980) and Cornell Medical College (1984), Dr. Felix completed a residency in anatomic pathology and fellowship training in gynecological pathology at The New York Hospital. After two years as assistant professor at Cornell Medical College, he accepted a position at USC where he now serves as chief of gynecologic pathology, chief of cytopathology, and director of the cytopathology fellowship training program. His research interests include detection and treatment of cervical cancer precursors, the pathogenesis of Human Papillomaviruses, endometrial cancer and its precursor lesions and the role of viral infections in placental pathology.
