About this doctor:

Since joining the Keck faculty in 2009, Dr. Jaque has been extremely active in teaching and mentoring medical students and resident physicians in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. She currently serves as the associate residency program director and is the division chief of general obstetrics and gynecology in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. It is her passion to empower women by educating them about their female health needs.

Philosophy of Care:
My philosophy of care is that a woman informed about her health is a woman empowered. My goal is to educate my patients and collaborate with them on their healthcare needs. I believe that treating patients and their families with respect is necessary to establish long lasting patient-physician relationships. I am truly honored to share in some of my patient’s most vulnerable experiences from their first gynecological exam to menopause and all that takes place in between. As a surgeon, I offer my patients a range of options – operating when necessary – and work closely with them during the recuperation period that follows. I feel that it is my responsibility to inspire women to be their own best advocate.
