Dr. Commins has broad experience in multiple aspects of CNS function and structure including undergraduate degree in psychology, PhD in Psychobiology, NIH postdoctoral traineeship in neuropharmacology, training in psychiatry and a postdoctoral fellowship in neuropathology. Since the end of her training, Dr. Commins has been on the faculty at USC in general Surgical Pathology and Neuropathology. She currently acts as a Neuropathologist for the National Neurological AIDS Bank at UCLA and as a consultant to the USC Department of Pathology in Surgical Neuropathology.
