Dr. Dakshesh Patel graduated from Government Medical College, Surat, India in 1989 and completed his residency in radiology at B. J. Medical College, Ahmedabad, India in 1992. After stints as tutor in radiology, assistant professor of radiology and consultant radiologist he started his private practice where he continued until 1999 when he immigrated to the U.S.
After coming to the United States, Dr. Patel completing his residency in radiology in 2006 and fellowship in magnetic resonance imaging in 2007. During his residency he was chief resident during 2006 – 2007, elected representative to graduate medical education council of St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, IL from 2004 – 2006 and house staff at Resurrection Medical Center from 2004 – 2006.
He joined the USC Department of Radiology as division head in 2007.
