About Anderanik Tomasian , MD
After receiving his medical degree from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in 2005, Dr.Tomasian completed a 2-year research fellowship in Diagnostic Cardiovascular Imaging at UCLA followed by Internal Medicine Internship at Yale New Haven Hospital-Saint Raphael Campus.
Dr.Tomasian completed his Radiology Residency and Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention Fellowship at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology, Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri. He joined USC as Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology in 2015. Dr.Tomasian has published over 70 journal articles and presented over 80 scientific and educational research topics in national and international meetings. Dr.Tomasian serves as the Program Director for the Musculoskeletal Imaging and Intervention Fellowship at USC.
Dr.Tomasian's main interests are in minimally invasive percutaneous treatment of benign and malignant tumors of the musculoskeletal system including bone and soft tissues utilizing radiofrequency ablation, cryoablation, and microwave ablation, combined with cementation, vertebral augmentation, and sacroplasty. He also enjoys bone and soft tissue biopsies, MRI in sports medicine, and musculoskeletal ultrasound.
